The Hall is managed as a charitable trust with the object of making it available, at minimal cost, for use by ‘deserving groups' located in the area.
The Hall is currently regularly used by a a variety of groups
which are in this category, including:
A Club for the Blind
A retired gentlemens’ club
A toddlers play group
A table tennis group for hard-
The Women's Royal Voluntary Service Club
Azelia Hall was built in 1953 by Alfred Parker, a former resident of Beckenham, in memory of his wife ‘Azelia’, and endowed as The Azelia Hall Charity for the benefit of the residents of the former borough of Beckenham.
In particular it provides a meeting and social centre for voluntary organisations catering for all age groups.
If you run or belong to such a group and are looking for somewhere to meet -
The Hall is also available to hire for weddings receptions, socials, parties, meetings and other events.
